VidCon is dedicated to delivering premium entertainment experiences across the globe and, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), it is committed to creating an unforgettable inaugural VidCon Abu Dhabi event.
VidCon and DCT Abu Dhabi’s first priority is the safety and health of its attendees, sponsors, speakers, creators, and staff. In light of the current situation as a result of the global pandemic caused by Covid-19, it has become difficult for us to ensure we can safely execute a high calibre VidCon experience for our fans and other constituents in 2020.
VidCon has therefore made the tough decision to postpone the VidCon Abu Dhabi event, originally planned for 16-19 December, 2020, until 8-11 December, 2021.
Over the next several months, we will work closely with local authorities, health officials, and the venue to guarantee we are doing everything possible to create the best and safest experience possible for 2021.
