The ultimate neo-culture festival is finally here! BRED Abu Dhabi, Presented by Hypebeast, is set to open its doors at Yas Bay Waterfront for five days of entertainment, art, fashion, and food from 26 to 30 April.
The festival promises a jam-packed lineup of hip-hop and R&B performances by international and regional artists. Visitors can expect chart-topping acts from the likes of 2 Chainz, Dave East, Armani White, 6LACK, Big Sean, Tagne, Afroto, and Balti. Recently added to the already stacked lineup are British rap superstars Headie One and Digga D, who are set to bring an electrifying performance on 28 and 29 April, respectively.
Art enthusiasts can head to the NEO GALLERY to witness augmented reality artworks by American artist and designer, KAWS. The creations were brought to life in partnership with VR and AR production house, Acute Art. Meanwhile, the festival’s HBX Space, presented by Hypebeast, will offer visitors highly-curated labels including Mallet, Pleasures, Daily Paper, Kicks Crew, and Filling Pieces.
At THE ALLEY, visitors can shop for streetwear fashion labels from local, regional, and international brands such as TwoJeys, Astral Labs, Bey&Bey, AOTA, Angel Dust, Socius, and Swey. The POP Zone is also a must-visit for fashion enthusiasts looking for pieces from Basement Lab, Dedicated, Karrouhat, Love Closely, PAR (Plant Art Repeat), Pointless Act, Since 2087, and SLO.
But that’s not all, some of the finest street food concepts from around the world are also making their way to BRED. Visitors can indulge in Southern comfort food at Sweet Chick, melted British cheese toasties at Meltsmiths, homemade sandwiches and unique brunch bites at restaurant-meets-streetwear imprint Paperboy Paris, and a menu influenced by flavors from the Middle East at New York’s first and only Bahrain-owned bakery, Librae Bakery. And for coffee lovers, Hypebeans, the culinary extension of Hypebeast, will be serving up a meticulous blend of coffee beans roasted by Japanese artisans.
Sports enthusiasts can take part in basketball and football games at THE COURTS and BRED Futsal Courts, respectively. Gamers can also hang out at THE GAME ZONE, an urban-style space with e-gaming setups, tournaments, and a BRED Chat/Podcast area.
Tickets are on sale now, with General Admission tickets starting at AED 50 on weekdays and AED 75 on weekends. Festival Passes guarantee visitors access to the complete festival experience, including concerts, for AED 495. Access to concerts includes BRED Plus passes at AED 195, BRED Fanatic passes at AED 295, and BRED VIP passes at AED 345. VIP tables for the concerts and after parties at the BRED Arena are also available with prior reservations.
