The Weeknd shares the official music video for his recently released single, “Blinding Lights.” The song initially arrived with the new Mercedes-Benz EQC campaign creative directed by the Canadian singer-songwriter.
The video for “Blinding Lights,” directed by Anton Tammi, follows the events from The Weeknd’s “Heartless” visual. Here, we find Abel joy riding in a brand new Mercedes-Benz, before getting his ass kicked by a couple guys at a local nightclub.
“Blinding Lights” has already garnered more than 330 million streams since being released at the end of 2019, going so far as to reach number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song’s counterpart, “Heartless,” went on to secure the number one spot, however.
The Weeknd has yet to announce a new album, but the push surrounding the two singles is leading many to believe a project is on the way.
