Los Angeles-based, Saudi-Arabian singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer $kinny returns today with his new single “TAMAM” feat. Fat Money via Universal Arabic Music —listen HERE.
“TAMAM” was written by $kinny and executive produced by Swizz Beatz, who worked with $kinny on his soon-to-be-announced project.
$kinny says, “Being from both sides, I wanted to make a wild song that connects both the Western and the Arabic world. ‘Tamam’ meaning ‘everything’s okay’ in Arabic is just that, and having my bro Fat Money, one of the hardest artists out of Chicago, on the song with me was perfect chemistry!”
Fat Money says, “When I heard the record for the first time, I’m like ‘WTF is this?!’ because it was something I never heard before. And $kinny is just a dope person all across the board, so NO brainer I had to get aboard this one.”
Earlier this month, $kinny dropped “Saudi Most Wanted”
Both tracks see the artist continuing to pave his own lane in hip hop, fusing lyrics and sounds inspired by his Saudi-Arabian roots and American upbringing. The songs follow his 2020 single “My Blocka” and breakout projects, 2017’s Late Night Blvd EP and 2019’s Thank You For Nothing. Over the past two years, $kinny has been writing and recording new music for his forthcoming project, set for release this spring.
